左翼運動を中心に、過去から現在までの、社会運動の記録や文献資料などを集めたアーカイブです。多くの国では近現代史として当たり前に研究され、貴重な資料も残されていますが、日本ではこのような歴史研究や資料公開自体が白眼視されがちです。また、運動主体でさえ我が国には運動史やその総括というものがなく、いつまでも同じ過ちを20年単位くらいで繰り返しがちです。微力ながら運動の歴史的な背景を含めて現代の視点から過去を見直し、未来への教訓を得るための参考として提供していけたらと思います。
